After driving myself crazy, I finally figured out how to edit the text on the webpage.
You are able to add whatever text you like when exporting out of Gephi, but you can’t edit the HTML file to add/change text. The weird thing is, it shows up in the proper div in the web inspector, but when actually editing the HTML file, nothing is there. I was then editing the config.json file and I saw at the top, what I had exported from Gephi. Sure enough, this is were you edit it. Now I can add directions with a nice little pop up. The new site can viewed here. I will obviously change this text, but at least I know it works now.
Speaking of the graph, I have organized the length of each song into ranges of one minute. For example, 1–2 minutes, 2–3 minutes and so forth. These were easy to add to the CSV file I use for the online graph. The print one is going to be a pain in the ass. Very tedious. I should be able to watch two episodes of Dexter while doing that tomorrow (fantastic show by the way).
Update
I wasn’t kidding.
